JOINT PART REPAIR METHOD
To provide a joint part repair method which can restore the water stop function of even a joint part with a wide groove part inexpensively and reliably.SOLUTION: The method includes an existing water-stop material removing process 100 which, in a joint part 10, removes existing water-stop materials from a groove part 12 in which metal wall parts 11 are separated from each other and face each other, and a rubber sheet 13 mounting process in which the rubber sheet 13 is stretched and mounted over the groove part 12 from which the existing water-stop materials have been removed. The rubber sheet 13 mounting process includes a new water-stop material 14 mounting process in which the rubber sheet 13 is bent in a substantially U-shape in cross section and mounted so that it does not come off when the groove 12 is opened into its maximal width, and new water-stop materials 14 are mounted above the rubber sheet 13 in the groove 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
