To provide a bridge-step prevention member capable of preventing a bridge superstructure from falling off and creating a large step on the bridge even when a bridge bearing is broken, and a bridge-step suppression structure.SOLUTION: A bridge-step suppression structure 100 includes: a pier; a bridge bearing provided to the pier; a bridge superstructure 121 placed on the pier via the bridge bearing; and a bridge-step prevention member attached to the bridge superstructure 121, which is placed with a gap between the pier and itself. The bridge-step prevention member includes: multiple round steel pipes 142; and a support member holding box 145 that holds arrangement of the multiple round steel pipes 142 by enclosing the periphery of the multiple round steel pipes 142.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
