To provide a fall prevention fence that is installed near an outlet (water discharge outlet) of a discharge channel that discharges the water used in a power plant to a river and that does not need to be removed even if the water level of the river rises due to heavy rain.SOLUTION: A fall prevention fence 1a comprises: a first support post 5 and a second support post 6 having a long columnar support body 2 provided with a locking part 3a or a locking part 3b on a side surface 2a; a wire 52 that connects the first support post 5 and the second support post 6 to each other; a first support post insertion hole and a second support post insertion hole formed in the vertical direction from a ground surface; and a first guide groove and a second guide groove.
