To provide a doorstop device that can smoothly and quickly open an inward-opening door outward in an emergency.SOLUTION: A doorstop device 6, which permits a door 2 to open inwardly and prohibits it from opening outwardly, includes a base 10 fixed to an upper frame 1a of a door frame 1, a doorstop member 20 connected to a base 10 that can be rotated between a regulated position that interferes with the turning path of the door 2 and a retracted position that does not interfere with the turning path of the door, and a locking mechanism LM that locks the doorstop member 20 to the base 10 in the regulated position. The locking mechanism LM has a release operation portion 32 that enables the doorstop member 20 to rotate to the retracted position by releasing the locked state of the doorstop member 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
