To provide an infection prevention device capable of performing a satisfactory operation while effectively preventing an infection between an operator and a patient.SOLUTION: An infection prevention device 10 to use in a treatment comprises: a support part 23; a transparent central cover 31 which is supported by the support part 23 and hangs down from the support part 23; and two lateral covers 32 which hang down from the support part 23 and are arranged on both sides of a direction perpendicular to the thickness direction of the central cover 31 and also perpendicular to a hanging direction X of the central cover 31, with respect to the central cover 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
