To provide a template for a foundation pile that can be efficiently removed from foundation piles installed on the sea bottom ground without interfering with the foundation piles, and a method of installing a foundation pile.SOLUTION: A template 100 for a foundation pile used for installing a plurality of foundation piles on the sea bottom ground comprises a plurality of guide members 140 having a guide shape portion formed for guiding the foundation piles to a pre-set foundation pile installation position, and a template body 110 that holds the plurality of guide members 140 in a relative position corresponding to the foundation pile installation position when viewed in plan view.
