To provide an open ceiling structure having enough strength even at an external corner portion and having an open feeling, and to provide a building comprising the open ceiling structure.SOLUTION: An open ceiling structure 2 opened from downstairs to upstairs is provided at an external corner portion 27 of a building where a first outer wall portion 8 facing outdoors and a second outer wall portion 9 facing outdoors are perpendicular to each other. The open ceiling structure 2 comprises: a first wind resistant beam 14 formed between the downstairs and the upstairs and inside the first outer wall portion 8 and having a beam body and a reinforcement portion reinforcing the horizontal strength of the beam body; a second wind resistant beam 15 formed between the downstairs and the upstairs and inside the second outer wall portion 9 and having a beam body and a reinforcement portion reinforcing the horizontal strength of the beam body. The first wind resistant beam 14 is joined to a side face of an edge end of the second wind resistant beam 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
