To automatically estimate a mounting height of a sensor.SOLUTION: An automatic door system 200 includes: a sensor that detects a person or object by causing a detection wave reception unit to receive a reflected wave from an irradiation surface of a detection wave transmitted by a detection transmission unit; a storage unit 140 that stores in advance a correspondence between a mounting height of the sensor from a floor surface and an amount of reception of the detection wave at the mounting height; and an estimation unit 130 that estimates the mounting height of the sensor based on the amount of reception by the detection wave reception unit and the correspondence stored in the storage unit 140.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
