INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, ROAD SURFACE PROPERTY INVESTIGATION SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
To provide an information processing device and a road surface property investigation system which quantitatively calculate heat insulation material peeling in heat insulation pavement.SOLUTION: An information processing device that evaluates captured road surface images acquired from road surface cameras (an example of imaging means) of a vehicle traveling on the road surface acquires brightness images showing the brightness of every pixel of a captured image and, based on appearing frequency of the brightness value for each pixel of a brightness image, estimates the brightness distribution of painted areas showing the areas of heat insulation pavement and peeling areas showing the areas of peeling of the heat insulation on the road surface. Then, the information processing device, based on the estimated brightness distribution, determines the peeling areas in the brightness images and calculates the peeling rate of the heat insulation by using the number of pixels included in the determined peeling areas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
【課題】遮熱性舗装における遮熱材のはがれを定量的に算出する情報処理装置及び路面性状調査システムを提供する。【解決手段】路面上を走行した車両の路面カメラ(撮像手段の一例)から取得された当該路面の撮像画像を評価する情報処理装置は、撮影画像の画素ごとの輝度を示す輝度画像を取得し、輝度画像の画素ごとの輝度値の出現頻度に基づいて、路面の遮熱性舗装の領域を示す塗装領域および遮熱材のはがれの領域を示すはがれ領域の輝度分布を推定する。そして、情報処理装置は、推定された輝度分布に基づいて、輝度画像におけるはがれ領域を決定し、決定されたはがれ領域に含まれる画素数を用いて、遮熱材のはがれ率を算出する。【選択図】図11
