To provide a floating matter collection device and a pump station capable of automatically collecting a large amount of floating matters floating on a water surface.SOLUTION: A floating matter collection device 10 for collecting floating matters X floating on a water surface W, and returning to a floating matter collection station 5 includes a floating matter collection member 20 for collecting the floating matters X, a propeller 12 for moving the floating matter collection member 20 along the water surface W, and a control device for controlling operation of the propeller 12, in which the control device controls timing of returning the floating matter collection device to the floating matter collection station 5 based on speed of the floating matter collection device 10 or consumption of power of the propeller 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
