To allow damage states of buildings to be easily confirmed.SOLUTION: A building damage state grasping system 10 includes: reinforcing bar axial strain measuring means 20A that measures a stress bearing state of a column main bar of a reinforced concrete column constituting a building 1; a wireless communication device 30 that transmits a measurement result obtained by the reinforcing bar axial strain measuring means 20A to the outside, and is provided on the outside of the reinforced concrete column; a database 40 that stores a relation between a stress bearing state of the column main bar and a damage state of the building 1; a cloud computer 50 that refers to the database 40 based on the measurement result received from the wireless communication device 30, and estimates the damage state of the building 1; and a user terminal 60 for viewing the damage state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
