To secure a wide space without impairing the beauty and convenience of space in a building.SOLUTION: A beam support structure 110 is provided with a beam 2 having both ends connected to a pair of columns 1, a second beam 3 extending below the beam 2 to pass through a space 120 in the building 100, and a suspension member 4 hanging down from the beam 2 and supporting an intermediate part 3c of the second beam 3 by fixing a lower end part 43. A ceiling 122 of the space 120 is arranged between the beam 2 and the second beam 3, an upper-end part 41 of the suspension member 4 extends to a side 2a of the beam 2 and is fixed to the side 2a, and a horizontal cross-section of an intermediate part 42 is elongated in a direction orthogonal to an extending direction of the second beam 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】建物内の空間の美観や利便性を損なうことなく、広い空間を確保できるようにする。【解決手段】梁支持構造１１０は、一対の柱１に両端がそれぞれ接続された梁２と、梁２の下方において建物１００内の空間１２０を通るように延びる第二の梁３と、梁２から垂下するとともに、下端部４３が固定されることで第二の梁３の中間部３ｃを支持する吊り材４と、を備えるものであって、梁２と第二の梁３との間に、空間１２０の天井１２２が配置されており、吊り材４は、上端部４１が、梁２の側面２ａまで延びるとともに、当該側面２ａに固定されており、中間部４２の水平断面が、第二の梁３の延長方向と直交する方向に長くなっている。【選択図】図４
