To provide an automatic faucet with a drawable/retractable spout and excellent water resistance.SOLUTION: The automatic faucet U comprises: a faucet body; a cylindrical spout holder S1 protruding from the faucet body; and a spout that is connected to a hose H that can be pulled out and is inserted and held at a tip part of a spout holder S1, wherein the spout holder S1 is provided with a sensor 3 for automatic water discharge, wiring 4 from the sensor 3 to the faucet body, a passage member 2 forming a passage for the hose H, and a sealing member 6 that seals a gap between the passage member 2 and the inner surface of the spout holder S1 while providing a wiring part 61 that avoids interference with the wiring 4, a drainage part for draining at least a part of water accumulated inside the spout holder S1 is formed on a tip side of the sealing member 6 in the spout holder S1, and the wiring part 61 is provided at a position higher than that of the drainage part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
