To provide a conveyance device on which an operator can ride.SOLUTION: The conveyance device for conveying equipment and materials comprises: a side surface part that forms a space for housing the equipment and materials; and a ceiling part that is orthogonal to the side surface part and forms a ceiling of the space. The side surface part is movable in a height direction, and when moving upward in the height direction, the side surface part serves as a handrail used by the operator to ride the ceiling and carry out work. Alternatively, when moving upward in the height direction and rotates to be connected to another conveyance device, the side surface part serves as a foothold used by the operator to carry out work.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
