To provide an interior material for plumbing that uses an imidazole-based antibacterial agent and resists being discolored by a chlorine-based bactericide such as sodium hypochlorite.SOLUTION: A interior material for plumbing has: a surface layer containing a vinyl chloride resin; and a coat layer that coats at least part of the surface layer, is free of the vinyl chloride resin, and has its surface exposed. The surface layer does not contain methyl-2-benzimidazole carbamate as much as possible and, if contained, the amount should be kept under 0.2 pts.mass.
