To provide a cement based spraying material that achieves enhanced self-standing capability subsequent to spraying and can forcibly be conveyed efficiently, and a construction method.SOLUTION: The cement based spraying material according to an embodiment of the present invention, is a cement based spraying material M to be sprayed to an object, i.e., a core material 11, and comprises cement, fine aggregate in an amount of not less than 80 pts.wt. and not more than 200 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of cement, water in an amount of not more than 30 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of cement, and air in a volume ratio of not higher than 40% relative to the total volume of cement, fine aggregate and water having been thoroughly blended.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
