METHOD FOR PRODUCING MAGNESIA-CHROME BRICK
To provide a method for producing a magnesia-chrome brick that has excellent iron oxide resistance and heat spalling resistance.SOLUTION: The magnesia-chrome brick is produced by adding a binder to a refractory raw material blend that contains electromelted magnesia-chrome by 40 to 90 mass% and electromelted magnesia having an average crystal grain size of 700 μm or more and a grain size of 1 mm or more by 10 to 60 mass%, and, in addition, the total amount of the electromelted magnesia-chrome and the electromelted magnesia having an average crystal grain size of 700 μm or more and a grain size of 1 mm or more is 85 mass% or more, and subjecting to kneading and molding, followed by firing.SELECTED DRAWING: None
