DEBRIS FLOW PREDICTION SYSTEM AND DEBRIS FLOW PREDICTION METHOD
To provide a debris flow prediction system capable of more accurate predictions than before about the danger of debris flow.SOLUTION: A debris flow prediction system 1 includes: water level measuring means 2 that measures the water level of a mountain stream at a predetermined point to obtain a measured mountain stream water level; rainfall data acquisition means 3 that acquires rainfall data around the predetermined point; water level prediction means 4 for finding the predicted mountain stream water level; and debris flow prediction means 5 that predicts debris flow based on the measured mountain stream water level and the predicted mountain stream water level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
