METHOD OF PRODUCING LF-LADLE MAGNESIA-CARBON BRICK
To provide a method of producing LF-ladle magnesia-carbon bricks of low elasticity with a low graphite content, capable of suppressing opening of a horizontal joint from occurring while in use.SOLUTION: The method of producing LF-ladle magnesia-carbon bricks, includes kneading, molding and subsequently heat-treating a refractory raw material composition containing 3 to 9 mass% of scaly graphite, 1.5 to 4 mass% of aluminum, 1 to 6 mass% of silicon carbide, and 80 to 94 mass% of magnesia, with the content therein of expanded graphite being 2 mass% or less (including 0).SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】黒鉛含有率が低くても低弾性でしかも使用時の水平目地の目地開きの発生を抑制することができるLF鍋用マグカーボンれんがの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】鱗状黒鉛を3~9質量%、アルミニウムを1.5~4質量%、炭化珪素を1~6質量%、及びマグネシアを80~94質量%含有すると共に膨張黒鉛の含有率が2質量%以下(0を含む。)である耐火原料配合物を混練し、成形後、熱処理する。【選択図】なし
