WATER DISCHARGE HEAD SUPPORT MECHANISM AND WATER TAP
To provide a water discharge head support mechanism and a water tap that make it easy to suppress a backlash of a water discharge head.SOLUTION: A water discharge head support mechanism 1 comprises: a water discharge head 4 connected to a withdrawable hose of a water tap; and a cylindrical head support member 5 that is attached to the water tap in a state in which the hose is inserted into the head support member and that supports the water discharge head 4. The head support member 5 has a head support part 50 on which a plurality of rows of protrusions 6 are provided. The water discharge head 4 has an attachment part 42 on which a plurality of rows of recesses 7 into which the plurality of rows of protrusions 6 are fitted. The plurality of rows of protrusions 6 and the plurality of rows of recesses 7 include a first protrusion 6b and a first recess 7b and a second protrusion 6c and a second recess 7c that are fitted to each other via gaps narrower than those between the other protrusions 6 and the other recesses 7. The first protrusion 6b is positioned at a first end of the head support part 50, and the second protrusion 6c is positioned at a second end of the head support part 50 that is on the side opposite to the first end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
