To provide a cradle raising/lowering device for a ship, which is able to safely moor a ship by sufficiently securing a lifting height for a ship.SOLUTION: In a cradle raising/lowering device 6 for a ship, for raising/lowering a cradle 5 disposed at a platform 2, the cradle 5 has: a placing base portion 42 on which the ship 7 is placed; and a placing-base support portion 41 supporting the placing base portion 42. The cradle raising/lowering device 6 for the ship has a cradle raising/lowering actuator 80 that is connected to the placing base support portion 41. The cradle raising/lowering actuator 80 is a telescopic extended/shortened cylinder 80 having an extended/shortened cylinder tube 81 and a plurality of piston rods 82, 83 concentrically provided in the extended/shortened cylinder tube 81. By driving a telescopic extended/shortened cylinder 80 hydraulically, a raising/lowering operation of the cradle 5 is performed between a mooring position where the ship 7 is moored in a state of landing on water and a retraction position where the ship 7 is not affected by a rise of a sea surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
