To easily enhance the removal of dirt of a coated wood material obtained by coating a woody material having a recessed part.SOLUTION: A coated wood material 1 includes a wood material 2 and a resin layer 3 covering the wood material 2. A surface 21 of the wood material 2 covered with the resin layer 3 has a recess 20. The water contact angle of the resin layer 3 is 20° or less. The outer surface of the part of the resin layer 3 covering the recess 20 of the wood material 2 has a recess 30. The maximum depth dimension of the recessed part 30 of the resin layer 3 is smaller than the maximum depth dimension of the recessed part 20 of the wood material 2 and is 5 μm or more and 50 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
