To provide a chair and a booth which allow a user to seat comfortably in both a seating position and a rising position.SOLUTION: A chair 12 related to one embodiment of the invention includes a base part 71, a seat 73 which is positioned above the base part 71 and has a cushioning material forming a seat face 73a, a backrest 72 positioned in the back of the seat 73, and a connecting mechanism 74 which connects the base part 71 and the seat 73 so that the seat 73 can move to a rising position where the seat face 73a turns to the front when a second side end part being a rear end part of the seat 73 moves upward while a first side end part being a front end part of the seat 73 moves backward in a seating position where the seat face 73a turns upward. In the seat 73, a second side escape part 96 which opens to the back and to a lower part in the seating position and avoids interference with the backrest 72 in moving between the seating position and the rising position is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】着座位置及び起立位置の双方において、利用者が快適に腰掛けることができる椅子及びブースを提供する。【解決手段】本発明の一態様に係る椅子１２は、基部７１と、基部７１の上方に位置するとともに、座面７３ａを形成するクッション材を有する座７３と、座７３の後方に位置する背凭れ７２と、座面７３ａが上方を向く着座位置において座７３の前端部となる第１側端部が後方に移動しながら、座７３の後端部となる第２側端部が上方に移動することで、座面７３ａが前方を向く起立位置に座７３を移動可能に、基部７１及び座７３間を接続する接続機構７４と、を備えている。座７３には、着座位置において後方かつ下方に開口して、着座位置及び起立位置間の移行時に背凭れ７２との干渉を避ける第２側逃げ部９６が形成されている。【選択図】図８
