To provide a seat plate cap capable of retrofitting a seat plate cap to a seat plate member of an existing shutter apparatus.SOLUTION: The seat plate cap for a shutter apparatus, which has a through-shaped seat plate cap locking part 12b1 and is attached to a seat plate member 12 to cover the end sides in the width direction of the seat plate member 12. The seat plate cap includes: a first cover part 13a that is formed to cover the end sides in the width direction of the seat plate member 12; and an engagement piece 13c that is formed to separably engage with locking 12b1 of the seat plate cap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
