To make it possible to accurately observe deformation of a structure.SOLUTION: A distance measurement device of the present invention comprises: a reflector; radiation means for radiating prescribed electromagnetic waves to the reflector; reception means for receiving the electromagnetic waves reflected by the reflector; measurement means for measuring a time till the reception means receives the electromagnetic waves since when the radiation means radiates the electromagnetic waves; and calculation means for, based on the measured time, calculating a distance from the radiation means to the reflector. The reflector includes at least three or more reflection planes whose planar direction is approximately vertical to the radiation direction of the electromagnetic waves, and the reflection planes are formed in a step structure so that the distance vertical to the planar direction from the radiation means differs at each of the planes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
