To provide a rolling compaction road roller having a structure capable of shortening work time and improving the finish of a surface layer by making it possible to switch the required orientation easily and in a small space.SOLUTION: A rolling compaction road roller 10 that compacts a road surface 200 on which an asphalt mixture and the like is spread comprises: a rolling compaction road roller body 11 travelled on the road surface 200; and a vehicle body lifting device 12 that lifts the rolling compaction road roller body 11 so that it can rotate substantially parallel to the road surface 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
