To provide a hanging support metal fitting which can increase the ceiling height.SOLUTION: A hanging support metal fitting includes: an upper piece 2 in which a pressing bolt B1 can be inserted for pressing a lower flange piece F1 of an H-shaped steel F which is a ceiling beam material; a pair of vertical pieces 3 provided on both side parts of the upper piece 2 in the vertical direction; a screw insertion hole 3d provided at the pair of vertical pieces 3; a first insertion hole 33 formed between left side surfaces 3a of the pair of vertical pieces 3 in which the lower flange piece F1 provided on the upper piece 2 side of the pair of vertical pieces 3 can be inserted; and a first insertion hole 33 provided between the pair of vertical pieces 3, and formed between right side surfaces 3c of the pair of vertical pieces 3 provided at the position opposing to the first insertion hole 33 formed between the left side surfaces 3a of the pair of vertical pieces 3. In the first insertion hole 33 formed between the right side surfaces 3c of the pair of vertical pieces 3, a ceiling joist retainer Na which is a ceiling bed material is inserted, and the ceiling joist retainer Na is fixed by a screw B2 inserted in the screw insertion hole 3d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
