To provide a drain plug opening/closing device with a novel structure that simplifies work procedures and construction and can easily handle drain plugs even if there are many types of drain plugs.SOLUTION: The drain plug opening/closing device 1 comprises: a drain plug 2 that relays a rising pipe T2 for drawing water supply to a building and a water supply pipe T1 buried in the ground; a drive part 5 that electrically opens and closes the drain plug 2; and a control part 7 that is connected to the drive part 5 by wiring and can perform bidirectional wireless communication with an external communication device S, wherein the control part 7 is configured to control opening/closing operation of the drain plug 2 by receiving a command from the external communication device S and transmitting a control signal to the drive part 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
