To provide a chipping device excellent in a soundproof effect and using ultrahigh pressure water, and an automatic chipping method.SOLUTION: A water jet head assembly (WJ head) is mounted within a predetermined range on a freely movable moving stand of a movement mechanism provided with the moving stand, the movement mechanism and an entire surface of a side face and an upper face of a chipping processing region including a predetermined region are covered with a soundproof cover 11 to form a chipping working chamber 40 with a sealed structure, ultrahigh pressure water is supplied from the outside to a WJ nozzle via a first connection part and an ultrahigh pressure water supply path, and slag and water vapor from the inside are discharged via a suction discharge path and a second connection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】防音効果に優れた超高圧水を用いたはつり装置及び自動はつり工法を提供する。【解決手段】所定の範囲内において、自由に移動可能な移動台部を備えた移動機構の移動台部にウォータージェットヘッドアセンブリ(ＷＪヘッド)を搭載し、移動機構と所定の領域を含むはつり処理領域全体の側面と上面の全面を防音カバー１１で覆って密閉構造のはつり作業室４０を形成し、外部からＷＪノズルへの超高圧水の供給は第１の接続部及び超高圧水供給路を介して行い、内部からのノロや水蒸気の排出は吸引排出路と第２の接続部を介して排出を行う。【選択図】図２
