ANTI-CORROSION PROTECTION FOR PORTABLE TIMEPIECE MAGNETS, IN PARTICULAR NEODYMIUM-IRON-BORON MAGNETS
To produce an anti-corrosion protection layer on a portable timepiece magnet, in particular on NdFeB magnets, by ion implantation.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method for protecting a portable timepiece magnet against corrosion. The magnet is provided, and that a surface preparation operation is carried out on the magnet, before subjecting it to an ion implantation treatment, in order to create an impervious oxide or nitride surface layer acting as a barrier against oxidation with all of the surface bonds saturated by the implanted ions, in order to prevent the corrosion of the magnet in a humid environment, under the usual conditions for a portable timepiece.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】 イオン注入によって、携行型時計用磁石、特に、NdFeB磁石、上に耐腐食保護層を作る。【解決手段】 携行型時計用磁石を腐食から保護する方法に関する。磁石に対して、表面処理操作を行ってからイオン注入処理を行って、酸化に対するバリアとして機能する不浸透性の酸化又は窒化された表面層を作り、注入イオンによってすべての表面結合が飽和され、これによって、携行型時計を使用する通常の条件下で、湿度の高い環境で前記磁石が腐食することを防ぐ。【選択図】なし
