To provide a portable sterilizer which can be easily attached to and detached from any place, in particular a door handle touched by many and unspecified people, operation buttons of an elevator, a telephone and the like, touch panels of various electronic terminals represented by an ATM and a ticket vending machine, and the like.SOLUTION: A portable sterilizer comprises: ultraviolet-emitting means 10 to emit ultraviolet in one direction; and holding means 20 detachably attached to an object D having a sterilization target N and configured to hold the ultraviolet-emitting means 10 such that the ultraviolet emitted is directed to the sterilization target N.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
