To provide a gasket temporary fastening clip used for mounting a gasket with high accuracy under good workability, and to provide a gasket mounting method using the gasket temporary fastening clip in the installation of the gasket extending at least in the vertical direction immediately after the erection of an outer wall panel.SOLUTION: A gasket temporary fastening clip 60 for temporarily fastening a gasket 40 to a longitudinal header surface 50a of an outer wall panel 50 is provided with an insertion piece 62 inserted between a heat-insulating board 54 and an outer wall frame 55, a piercing piece 63 that is made to pierce a longitudinal header surface 54a of the heat-insulating board 54, and a pressing piece 64 for pressing a part of the gasket 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
