To adsorb and hold a proper portion of an object when handling the object.SOLUTION: An erection device comprises: a hand portion 18 having adsorbing groups 36A, 36B for adsorbing and holding an object (a wall body); a control portion for detecting a portion that can be adsorbed (a portion corresponding to a column material made of a magnetic body) from an image of a captured wall; and an interval adjusting portion 42 for adjusting an interval H between the adsorbing groups 36A, 36B of the hand portion 18 based on a position of the adsorbable portion detected by the control portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
