SOCKET FOR PREVENTION OF FREEZING
To provide a socket for prevention of freezing which can be connected to a faucet installed at an outdoor space, etc. very easily and installed with a water discharge port of a freezing prevention valve oriented in a vertically downward direction without fail.SOLUTION: A socket for prevention of freezing 4 includes: a cylindrical body 41 which is disposed between a first valve at the water supply source side and a second valve connected to the first valve and has opening surfaces 41a, 41b, located on upper and lower surfaces, and in which a first water supply passage 41c for allowing water to flow between the first valve and the second valve is formed; a cylindrical adapter 42 which has an opening surface at one end side and is connected to a side surface of the cylindrical body 41 in a direction orthogonal to the side surface and in which a second water supply passage 42a for allowing water to flow to the first water supply passage 41c is formed; and a low temperature actuated valve 43 which is inserted and fitted in the other end side of the cylindrical adapter 42 and operates to discharge water from the second water supply passage 42a to the outside by a valve body 43a automatically opening according to an outside air temperature. Thus, the socket for prevention of freezing 4 can be connected to a faucet installed at an outdoor space very easily and enables installation of a discharge port of a freezing prevention valve in a vertically downward direction without fail.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】屋外などに設置された蛇口に極めて容易に接続でき、且つ凍結防止弁の吐水口を確実に真下方向に向けて設置することができる凍結防止用ソケットを提供する。【解決手段】凍結防止用ソケット4は、給水源側の第一弁及び当該第一弁に接続される第二弁の間に配置され、上下面に開口面41a,41bを有して第一弁及び第二弁の間を通水するための第一給水路41cが内部に形成された筒状本体41と、一端側に開口面を有して筒状本体41の側面に直交する方向で接続されて且つ第一給水路41cに通水する第二給水路42aが内部に形成された筒状アダプタ42と、筒状アダプタ42の他端側に挿嵌されて外気温に応じて弁体43aが自動開弁することで第二給水路42aから水を外部に吐水するように作動する低温作動弁43と、を備える。このため、凍結防止用ソケット4は、屋外などに設置された蛇口に極めて容易に接続でき、且つ凍結防止弁の吐水口を確実に真下方向に向けて設置することができる。【選択図】図3
