To provide a watertight plate connecting center column that enables installation of multiple watertight plates in either a protruding or an inserted corner when they are connected for installation.SOLUTION: A watertight plate connecting center column is positioned at a connecting position in the width direction of a plurality of watertight plates surrounding the flood prevention area and is connectable to the side edge portions of the watertight plates in the width direction. The watertight plate connecting center column includes: a first column section with a first connecting surface that extends in the width direction of one of the plurality of watertight plates and to which the side edge portion is connected at the width direction end; and a second column section with a second connecting surface that extends in a direction substantially orthogonal to the first column section on a side opposite to the first connecting surface in the width direction, and to which the side edge portion of the other of the plurality of watertight plates is connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
