To provide a structural wall surface structure referred to as a "swollen wall" having a surface material provided so as to bulge to the front side of a wall surface with a simple structure and easy construction work.SOLUTION: A wall surface structure 1 comprises: a base material fixed to a wall surface 11; and a surface material 5 fixed to a part of the base material opposite to the wall surface 11. The structure comprises a lighting device 6 that emits light outside the surface material 5 in a surface direction.
