To make it easy to utilize the upper space of an accommodating furniture for various purposes and to make it difficult to obstruct the opening/closing operation of a door.SOLUTION: An accommodating furniture structure 30, covering at least part of the perimeter of an accommodating space, which is for use in an accommodating furniture that is formed therein with the accommodating space for storing objects therein, includes: a panel 32 which, in an installed state, divides the accommodating space from a space horizontally outside the accommodating space and has an opening 33 for inserting an object into the accommodating space from the outside space; a door which is movably supported between a closed position for closing the opening 33 and an open position for opening at least part of the opening 33 by moving from the closed position along a vertical and/or horizontal direction of the panel 32; an operating portion 50 to receive an operation related to switching the position of the door; and an opening/closing mechanism 60 to move the door between the closed position and the open position in response to the operation given on the operating portion 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
