To provide a steel floor slab having a structure having good processability by using complete penetration welding, and a manufacturing method of the steel floor slab.SOLUTION: A steel floor slab constituting a floor surface of a bridge includes: square steel pipes 31 which are metal cylinders having a hollow structure and an approximately rectangular cross section, which are prepared in plurality and are arranged almost parallel to each other; and connecting plates 32 made of plate materials and arranged so as to connect the square steel pipes 31 to each other. End parts of the connecting plates 32 are joined to side surfaces of the square steel pipes 31 by complete penetration welding, and one side of the square steel pipe 31 and one surface of the connecting plate 32 form an upper surface to receive asphalt pavement 15 which is a pavement material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
