To provide an asphalt modifier that can yield an asphalt composition and an asphalt mixture with fast expression of water resistance; and to provide an asphalt composition, an asphalt mixture, a method for producing them, and a road pavement method.SOLUTION: [1] An asphalt modifier is composed of a polyester resin that contains a carboxylic acid component-derived constitutional unit and an alcohol component-derived constitutional unit, the carboxylic acid component and alcohol component satisfying specific conditions. [2] An asphalt composition contains asphalt and the asphalt modifier. [3] An asphalt mixture contains aggregate and the asphalt composition. [4] A road pavement method includes a step of applying the asphalt mixture on a road and forming an asphalt pavement layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
