To provide a tension type ground anchor preventing a pull-out and reducing a workload in processing a tension member and applying tension during a construction in an economical way even when the number of cross sections (the number of wires) of PC steel stranded wires appearing on a cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction is an odd number.SOLUTION: A tension anchor comprises a plurality of tension members 2 made of PC steel stranded wires, wherein the plurality of tension members 2 include: U-turn shape tension members 2a bent in a U-turn shape at a depth side of a bored hole 7 and having both ends extending to a tension end; and a tension member 2b having an end part at a depth side of the bore hole 7 formed in a hook shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
