To be able to reinforce steel beams while keeping costs down.SOLUTION: In a steel beam reinforcement structure in which a reinforcement member 2 is welded and fixed to a web 13 of an existing steel beam 1 on which a through hole 13A is formed, the reinforcement member 2 comprises a closing plate 20 in the form of passing through the through hole 13A from the surface side of the web 13 and closing the through hole 13A from the rear side. The closing plate 20 has a closing portion 21 that is fitted into the through hole 13A and closes the through hole 13A, and a backing plate 22 and a bevel 23 that are integrally formed to enable full penetration welding of the outer circumference portion of the closing portion 21 and a peripheral portion 13B of the through hole of the web 13 from the surface side of the web 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
