To allow a door body to open toward the person concerned, only with his/her single (one) grip rotation action.SOLUTION: A pull-type door opener, including a rotating member 2 that rotates in conjunction with a grip 1 and an operation member 11 that is installed to a door body D to which the grip 1 is provided and that rotates about rotation shafts 13, 14 fixed to the door body D to get close to or go away from a door surface D2. Between the rotating member 2 and the operation member 11, conversion mechanisms 20, w are provided that convert a rotation of the operation member 11 in the direction away from the door surface D2 into rotational motion of the rotating member 2, and the conversion mechanisms 20, w convert the rotation of the operation member 11 into the rotational motion of the rotating member 2, which causes the grip 1 to rotate, enabling the door body D to be pulled open.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
