To provide a binding member and a roof structure capable of preventing incursion of rainwater from between a head and a roof material with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A binding member 1 inserted through a hole 131 provided in a roof material 130 to bind together a roof board 110 and the roof material 130 comprises: a head 11; a shaft 12 provided in the head 11; and a sealing member 14 which is provided in the corner of the head 11 and the shaft 12 and not restored when compressed or set to a restoration force lower than a binding force for binding together the roof board 110 and the roof material 130 and which seals a gap between the head 11 and the surrounding main surface of the hole 131 of the roof material 130.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
