To make it easy to draw an operation handle, and to avoid a failure in locking.SOLUTION: An action mechanism and fittings for a lock device include a transmission member, and a fitting hole into which a drive shaft of an operation handle is inserted is provided at a drive end of the transmission member. An axial direction of the fitting hole is perpendicular to an interior-side surface of a surface material fitted to a doorcase of a sliding door, an action member is provided at an output end of the transmission member, and the action member penetrates a mount hole of the doorcase of the sliding door to be connected to an engagement member. The operation handle rotates to drive the transmission member with the drive shaft of the operation handle, and then the transmission member causes the engagement member to slide through the action member. The operation handle fitted to the action mechanism of the lock device is an in-surface handle, and consequently the fittings can be easily opened and closed to hardly cause a state of a failure in locking and also to improve convenience in operating the fittings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
