To automatically carry out a baggage delivered to receiving facilities such as a home delivery box.SOLUTION: A baggage handling device of the invention includes: a data acquisition unit which acquires baggage data indicating information about a baggage to be delivered and delivered data indicating that the baggage has been received by a receiving facility for receiving the baggage; a transport device selection unit which selects a first transport device which transports the baggage based on the baggage data; and a transport device control unit which causes the first transport device to hold the baggage after the data acquisition unit acquires the delivered data, and causes the first transport device to leave the receiving facility.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
