To provide a technique for clearly imaging an information code under influence of disturbance light.SOLUTION: A code reading device includes: a light source that irradiates a display surface presented in a vertical posture and containing an information code with irradiation light; a first filter that receives reflected light, which is the irradiation light reflected by the display surface, and disturbance light, transmits the reflected light and light of the disturbance light having a specific wavelength component that is the same as the wavelength component of the reflected light, and blocks transmittance of light of the disturbance light having wavelength components other than the specific wavelength component; a lens that images the light transmitted through the first filter; an element that converts an image formed by the lens into image data; and a reading unit that acquires the image data from the element and reads information recorded in the information code in the image indicated by the acquired image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
