To provide a sliding seismic isolator and a seismic isolator support which are excellent in dust resistance to a sliding surface that constitutes the sliding seismic isolator and which can guarantee the friction coefficient at the time of design.SOLUTION: A sliding seismic isolator 40 has a cradle 43 comprising a spherical seat 44 having a first concave spherical surface 44a, a sliding body 45 having a first convex spherical surface 45b accommodated in the first concave spherical surface 44a and a second convex spherical surface 45a on the opposite side of the first convex spherical surface 45b, and a shoe 41 having a second concave spherical surface 41c on which the second convex spherical surface 45a slides. A dustproof sheet 50 is attached to the shoe 41, and a part of the dustproof sheet 50 extending from the shoe 41 toward the cradle 43 is in contact with the cradle 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
