To provide a hot repair mix with a high repair effect.SOLUTION: A hot repair mix comprises a matrix made of finely divided refractory material having particle size less than 1 mm. The matrix contains 55 to 85 mass% of used alumina shot fine powders and 15 to 45 mass% of magnesia fine powders relative to 100 mass% of the matrix, and the mass ratio of the used alumina shot fine powders and the magnesia fine powders (used alumina shot fine powders:magnesia fine powders) is in the range of 55:45 to 85:15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
