To provide an efficient fence construction method.SOLUTION: A fence construction method includes an erection step of erecting a styrene foam panel 1 on foundation 3, a first reinforcement step of reinforcing by bonding a mesh sheet 5 to the first region of a panel 3, and a second reinforcement step of reinforcing by coating fiber-containing mortar 6 to a second region of the panel 1. The first region includes at least some parts of side faces 13, 14 as a flat region of the panel 1, and the second region includes an upper face 17 being a non-flat region of the panel 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
