To provide a vehicle door opening/closing device capable of improving assembling performance and handling performance by detachably and temporarily holding a connection member in guide means with a suitable attitude.SOLUTION: Guide means 20 comprises a holding means part 25 capable of detachably holding a connection member 24 with a temporary holding attitude obliquely inclined upward outside a vehicle. The holding means part 25 includes an engaging hole 251 having a prescribed length in a longitudinal direction, a guide projection part 255 projected downward above the engaging hole 251, and a reception part 252 projected to outside the vehicle below the engaging hole 251. The connection member 24 includes a held part 241 fitted in the engaging hole 251 and movable from a predetermined temporary holding position to a release position and vice versa, a guide recessed part 243 movable in the longitudinal direction with respect to the guide projection part 255 and fitted to be immovable in the interior-exterior direction, and a received part 246 supported on the reception part 252 from the lower side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
